“Maine Marine Composites collaborated with DeepWater Buoyancy to develop an oceanographic mooring system for a subsea Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) that addresses the specific deployment depth, environmental conditions, and seafloor characteristics of a site in the Gulf of Maine. Additional design criteria included the wire rope safety, chain load safety, ADCP pitch and knockover (setdown), anchor sliding, and the recoverability of the acoustic release.”
